Evelyn H. Cason, 96, of David City, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at David Place.
There will be no viewing or services. Burial will be in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas at a later date.
Evelyn H. Cason was born on December 15, 1916 near Ulysses, Nebraska to Mike and Hattie(Rerucha)Semin. She attended local grade schools and graduated from Ulysses High School. She went on to obtain her teaching certificate and taught in the rural Ulysses schools.
Evelyn married Robert Cason on Dec. 26, 1941. She worked at the Grand Island munitions plant while Bob was away in the Army serving in the Pacific.
Bob and Evelyn operated dry cleaning establishments in Broken Bow and McCook until settling in California.
Evelyn operated women's apparel and "Merle Norman" cosmetic outlets in the Garden Grove, CA area.
Later in retirement, they moved to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas where they enjoyed golf.
She is survived by one niece and nephews.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister: Eva Cink, two brothers; Ernest and Edmond Semin.
