Eva Meysenburg

June 23, 1909 — March 18, 2008

Eva M. Meysenburg, 98, of David City, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at David Place in David City.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, March 25 at St. Mary's Church in David City. Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Mary Cemetery, rural Bellwood. Visitation will be Monday, from 2-5pm at the funeral home and after 6pm at the church followed by a 7PM PCCW rosary also at church, Refreshments will follow the rosary at St. Mary's school hall.
Eva was born on June 23, 1909 at Bellwood to Peter and Rose(Hilger) Hiller. She married Paul John Meysenburg on April 23, 1929 at Bellwood and she lived her entire married life on the farm where she enjoyed her chickens and gardening, especially raising strawberries. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in David City, PCCW and a past member of Presentation Church(Marietta.)
Survivors include her sons: Gerald(Rita), Jack(Janice) and Norbert(Betty) Meysenburg all of Omaha; two sisters: Mary Scholz of David City and Rose Ann Moran of Alliance, NE. 8 Grandchildren; 3 Step-grandchildren; 17 Great-grandchildren; 8 Step-great-grandchildren; and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren. Eva was preceded in death by her parents, her husband PJ in 1978; six brothers: Harry, Francis, Edward, Anthony, Chris and Paul Hiller; two sisters: Florence DeMuth and Veronica Becker and one great-granddaughter; Samantha Meysenburg.
