Emily E. Pacas

Funeral Services for 87 year old Emily E. Pacas of Schuyler, formerly of Clarkson will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, February 17th at the New Zion Presbyterian Church with Rev. Cathy Allen officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the church and will continue Monday one hour before services. Burial will be in the Clarkson National Cemetery.
Emily was born February 18, 1926 in Stanton County, Nebraska to Anton and Minnie (Hermosa) Pacas. She attended school in Leigh before moving to Clarkson for her senior year. On January 8, 1946, Emily married Adolph Pacas at the Colfax County Courthouse in Schuyler. Emily was a member of the New Zion Presbyterian Church and the Ladies Aide. She loved playing Bingo, cooking and gardening.
Emily is survived by two sons: Jerry (Arlys) Pacas of Schuyler and Larry Pacas and his lifemate Ed Kaohn, also of Schuyler. In addition, Emily is survived by 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Adolph in 2005, daughter Judy in 2007, great grandson Adam, brothers: Frank, Jim, Joe and Anton, and sisters: Antonia, Helen and Agnes.
Memorials are suggested "In Care of the Family".
