Eileen K. Wiese, age 79, of David City died Thursday December 29, 2011 at the Butler County Health Care Center. Cremation has taken place.
A private inurment of ashes will be held at Blue Springs Cemetery at a later date.

Eileen Wiese was born on January 23, 1932 at Blue Springs, Nebraska to Emil and Leota(Sullivan)Wiese. She grew up in the Blue Spring/Holmesville area where she attended school through the 8th grade. She then lived in the Pawnee City, Barneston, and Stromsburg areas for several years. Eileen was a current resident of Region V in David City.
She was involved in her volunteer work. She helped with Meals on Wheels and worked at the David City Senior Center. Eileen also enjoyed working crossword puzzles, wordsearch puzzles, crocheting, flowers, going for long walks, and garage sales. She also had an immense love and interest in wildlife and animals.
Eileen is survived by her siblings: Agnes "Marie" Cassell of Denver, CO; Cecilia "Cindy" Reed of York, NE; and Jerry(Shirley)Wiese of Fort Collins, CO; many nieces and nephews and her Region V family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and several nieces and nephews.
