Edwin Dusatko

Edwin M. "Dushy" Dusatko, 83, of Brainard, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2007 at St. Joseph's Villa in David City.
Services for Edwin will be Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 10:30 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Brainard. A Rosary will be held at 10 am Saturday also at the Church.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 4 from 2 - 5 pm at the Holesovsky Mortuary in Brainard. Visitation will also be held from 9 - 10 am Saturday at the Church.
Military rites by the Rejda American Legion Post #273 and burial will follow at the Holy Trinity Cemetery.
Edwin was born August 2, 1924 to Maxmillian and Rosie (Kulhanek)Dusatko. He served in the artillery division in the U.S. Army. He majored in Agricultural Business and was a farmer and rancher. Edwin was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Brainard, the Rejda American Legion Post #273, served on the Board of the Farmers Co-Op, and the Church Board. He was also a member of the Brainard Community Club.
Edwin is survived by his sisters: Evie Dvorak, of Brainard, Leona (Richard) Janak of Brainard, and Marvene (Ernie) Bruner, of Columbus, and 13 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Edwin J. Dvorak.
