Edmee Cermak, age 90, of David City, died Tuesday December 20, 2011 at the Butler County Health Care Center.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, December 23, 2011 at 10:00am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, David City with Fr. Bernard Kimminau as celebrant. A PCCW rosary will be held on Friday, at 9:30am also at the church. Inurnment will be in St. Mary's Cemtery.
There will be no viewing or visitation.

Edmee Cermak was born on June 13, 1921 to Michael and Anne(Demuth)Hoffman at Lincoln, Nebraska. She attended David City High School, graduating in 1938. She attended Business College in Lincoln for one year.
Edmee married Louis H. Cermak on January 22, 1944 at St. Mary's Church, David City.
She traveled with Louis during his military days, settling in Witchita, KS working as a personal secretary with Garvey, Inc. She retired from Garvey in 1992. She moved back to David City in 2000 residing there until her death.
Edmee was a member of St. Mary's Church, Ladies Guild,and PCCW. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, taking cruises and loved to take gambling trips with her friends. Edmee loved to entertain, being the gracious hostess, always smiling and having fun. Anyone who knew her, knew that was she a generous, kind hearted person who loved life.
She is survived by her sisters: Kay Adamy of David City and Eva Cabrales of Lincoln. Many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Edmee was prededed in death by her parents, her husband in 1993; one infant brother and one sister: Rosemary Hoffman.
