Dorothy C. Houska, age 92, died Thursday April 28, 2011 at St. Joseph Villa in David City.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday May 3, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in David City with Fr. Bernard Kimminau celebrating. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Visitation will be on Monday from 3 to 7 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church with a 7 PM PCCW rosary.
Memorials have been suggested to masses at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Dorothy Claire Houska was born on January 14, 1919 at David City to Pete and Rose(Dembuski)Osanatowski. She was a 1936 graduate of David City High School. She was a longtime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in David City. Dorothy also enjoyed playing card games and took great pride in lending a hand to others. She really enjoyed volunteering at St. Joseph Villa.
Dorothy is survived by her sons; Donald Wittolski of Hordville, NE; Dennis Houska of Kearney, NE and Gary Houska of Columbus, NE as well as 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband James Wittolski, second husband Frank Houska, one son: James Jr., daughter in law Thelma as well as brothers Ed and Harold Osantowski; sister Victoria and twin sister Doris.
