Donald L. Buell, 91, of David City, formerly of Ogallala, passed away March 29, 2015 at St. Joseph's Villa in David City.
Donald was born June 30, 1923 to Gus and Mae (McManus) Buell in Williston, ND. He graduated from Williston High School in 1941, and moved to Ogallala in 1944 during the war. Donald was united in marriage to Patricia Goscha on January 12, 1952 in Ogallala. He worked as a Purchasing Manager at TRW, a electronics manufacturer, and he loved to golf.
He is survived by his sons: Michael (Deb) Buell, of Bellwood, and Steve Buell, of Lincoln; 6 grandchildren: Jayne (Mark Divis) Buell, Jimmy (Jennifer Meister) Buell, Lynda (Michael Werner) Buell, Tayler Buell, April Buell, and Amber (Mark) Bess; 5 great-grandchildren; loving brothers & sisters-in-law; and nieces & nephews.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents: Gus & Mae; wife: Patricia; sisters: Cis Anderson; and Marian Chute.
Memorials have been suggested to St. Luke's Catholic School Endowment Fund in Ogallala, NE.
There will be no funeral services as Donald has chosen to be cremated.
