Donald Bock, 70, of David City passed away on December 20, 2012 at the Butler County Health Care Center.
Funeral Service will be Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 2:00pm at Chermok Funeral Home in David City. Viewing will be Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the David City Cemetery.

Don was born on February 11, 1942 to Joe and Gertrude(Papa) Bock in Columbus, Nebraska. He attended David City Public Schools and completed up through the 10th grade. On August 7, 1965, Don was united in marriage to Sandra Engle and was blessed with 2 daughters.
He worked at Hughes Brothers Manufacturing in Seward for 39 years until retiring at the age of 62. Don loved gardening, hunting & fishing, cruising around town with his dog Willie, old westerns, animals, time with his children and grandchildren, and getting pork sandwiches at the Butler County Fair.
Don is survived by his wife, Sandy; Daughters: Lori(Phil) Mendoza II of Lincoln and Julie(Brad) Fitzgerald of Lincoln; 3 grandchildren: Jade Mendoza, Phil Mendoza III, and Haley Dawn Fitzgerald; Uncle: Howard Papa; Sister-in-laws: Donna Reppen, Glenda(Richard) Cole, and Janice(John) Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
He in preceded in death by his parents; an infant baby brother; brother-in-laws: Fred & Jim Engle; and his father and mother-in-law.
