DeLores Meysenburg, of David City, died Sunday, May 14, 2017 at her residence of natural causes.

DeLores was born on December 4, 1930 to John and Agnes (Bushek) Rejda on the farm. DeLores worked at the Mead Ordinance Plant during the war, and that is where she met and married Bernard Meysenburg on September 22, 1952 at Immaculate Conception Church in Ulysses. Two sons were born to this union.
DeLores worked for Vishay Dales for over 40 years. She was also recently honored for over 50 years of sales and service in Avon. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and the PCCW. DeLores enjoyed baking, her specialty was kolaches and rosettes, making uncounted dozens through the years for people in several surrounding counties. She enjoyed playing bingo, taking casino trips, and shopping , but she treasured time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
DeLores is survived by her sons: Bruce (Kathy) Meysenburg and Patrick (Suzanne) Meysenburg, both of David City; 4 Grandchildren: Jaci (Jake) Heins, Craig (Laura) Meysenburg, Jennifer (Aaron) Balsillie, and Sarah Meysenburg. 6 Great-grandchildren: Alison and Emma Heins, Colin, Natalie, and Morgan Meysenburg, and Jocelyn Balsillie. Sister-in-law: Carolyn Rejda of David City; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Bernie in 2016; and one brother: Eugene Rejda.
