David “Fuzz” Groulik, 78, of Schuyler passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Brookestone Acres in Columbus.
Memorials can be directed to Divine Mercy Parish or the Schuyler Golf Club.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, October 8, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Schuyler with Fr. Gerry Gonderinger officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9 until 10 a.m. with a parish rosary recited at 10 a.m. all at the church. Masks will be required for those in attendance. The rosary and Mass will be live streamed to the funeral home Facebook page. Interment will be in the Schuyler Cemetery with lunch following at the Schuyler Golf Club. Svoboda Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

David Joseph Groulik was born on March 5, 1942 in David City to Edward and Irene (Wacha) Groulik. He attended grade school in David City until the family moved to Schuyler where Dave graduated from Schuyler High School in the class of 1961. After high school Dave went on to work at Behlen Manufacturing in Columbus where he retired after a 40-year career in 2004.
In his spare time Dave enjoyed golfing at the Schuyler Golf Club, and always looked forward to playing in league with his friends. He enjoyed watching any sport associated with the Nebraska Huskers and loved cheering on the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Indians.
Dave is survived by his brother Don Groulik of Mesa, Arizona; five nieces and nephews; and ten grand nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law Jo Groulik.
