Daniel J. Zegers, 49, of David City passed away on Monday, November 20, 2018.

Dan Zegers was born on October 20, 1969 in David City, to Joseph and Virginia (Kozisek) Zegers. He graduated from Aquinas High School in 1988 and worked at Benes Service in machine assembly for 30 years.
Dan lived on the farm and enjoyed fishing, helping people and caring for all his dogs. They were his pride and joy.
Dan is survived by his mother, Virginia Zegers of David City, brother, Greg (Gae) of New Bern, NC, sister, Nancy Thege of David City, several nieces and nephews, and one great-niece.
Dan was preceded in death by his father, Joseph in 2009.
