Dale Ruth

Dale F. Ruth, 87, of Rising City, died Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at Butler County Health Care Center in David City. Services will be Saturday December 30, 2006, 1:30 pm at the Methodist Church in Rising City. Burial will be in the Circle Mound Cemetery in Rising City. Visitation will be 3 - 7 pm Friday December 29, 2006 at Chermok Funeral Home in David City, with the family present from 5 - 7 pm. Memorials in care of the family.
Dale F. Ruth was born January 16, 1919 in Rising City, Nebraska to Alonzo H. (A.H.) and Tessa (Ribblet) Ruth. He attended grade school in Union Hill and graduated from Rising City High School in 1936. Dale married Lois Croisant on September 6, 1940 in Sydney, Iowa. He farmed, raised livestock and sold Pioneer Seed Corn for 50 years. Dale served on the Union Hill School Board. He enjoyed going to his grandchildren and great grandchildren's activities.
Dale is survived by his wife Lois, of Rising City, Nebraska; son: Ronald R (Dorothy) Ruth of Rising City, Nebraska; daughter: Carla (Lloyd) Hans of Shelby, Nebraska; sister-in-law: Virginia Bernt-Bond; 5 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
