Clysta Prigge, 80, of Ulysses passed away on May 11, 2013 at Utica Community Care Center.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 10:30 am at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rising City with Pastor David Schultz officiating. Burial will follow in Faith West Cemetery.
Viewing will be Monday, May 13, 2013 from 5-7 pm at Chermok Funeral Home in David City. Additional viewing will resume one hour before the service on Tuesday.
Clysta A. Lindstrom was born on April 1, 1933 to Lowell and Dorothy(Nowels) Lindstrom on a farm near Gresham. She graduated from Gresham High School then went to a teaching course. Clysta then taught for 3 years before marrying John Prigge on June 15, 1954. Four sons were born to this union.
She and her husband enjoyed square dancing and traveling the world together. Clysta collected dolls and stuffed animals. She loved her vegetable and flower gardens, and spending time with her family and friends. Clysta and John have been members of the Lutheran Church for many years.
Clysta is survived by her husband: John Prigge; sons: Scott (Mary Ann) Prigge of Ulysses, Clifford Prigge of Waco, Jeff Prigge of Gresham, and Rex (Amy) Prigge of Ulysses; brother: Don Lindstrom of Overton, NE; and sister Delilah (Ronald) Dey of Texas; grandchildren: Elizabeth Prigge, Alison(Tyler) Fozzard, Brian Prigge, Todd Prigge, Joseph Prigge, Kristofor Prigge, Kay Prigge and Ann Prigge; great-grandchildren: Elliott, Colvin, Emmaleigh, Kash, Jaclynn, and Thor Prigge.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law Betty Lindstrom.
