Cletas Eleanor Stryker, 93, of Rising City, passed away Monday, December 22, 2008 at David Place in David City. Nebraska.
Services 10:30 am Monday, December 29 at the United Methodist Church in Rising City with Rev. Glenn Hubbard officiating. Burial will be in the Circle Mound Cemetery in Rising City.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 pm Sunday December 28 at Chermok Funeral Home in David City, and Monday, one hour before services, at the Church.
Cletas was born September 3, 1915 to Walter F. and Estella (Brown) Talbot in Summit Township, Butler County. She married Harold B. Stryker on June 15, 1939 in David City. Cletas was a member of the United Methodist Church in Rising City, Eastern Star and the Ladies Legislative Unicameral League.
Survivors include a son: Ronald (Karen) Stryker of Jemez Springs, NM; daughter: Sherril (Lynn) Pinneo of Rising City; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Cletas was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold in 2005, brother John Talbot and sister Irene Peterson.
Memorials are suggested In Care of the Family.
