Clarence Wayne Graybill (Tex), 79, of David City, passed away March 10, 2017 at david place in David City.
Clarence was born January 7, 1938 to Charles and Clara Belle(Chambers) Graybill, in David City. He graduated from David City High School in 1955. Clarence was united in marriage to Mary Ann Fuhr on April 24, 1960 at the Federated Church in Columbus.
Clarence and Mary Ann were members of the Congregational Christian Church in David City. At the age of 16 he worked at the Astro Movie Theater, then when onto work at Ankle Deep Butcher Shop, Loup Engineering, Behlens, drove a cement truck, and finished with 30 years as a power plant operator, for David City. He was a member of the David City Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years, was a Boys Scouts and Weeblers leader, and helped start the Rod and Gun Club then helped start the Explorers Outdoor Club. Clarence enjoyed trap shooting, hunting, and fishing. Everyone knew him as Tex.
He is survived by his wife: Mary Ann; children: Doris (Marty) Jansky, of Lincoln; Tim (Lea) Graybill, Tom Graybill, and Duane Graybill all of David City; 7 grandchildren: Michael, Myndi, Marc, Matthew(Helen), Duane Jr., Robert, and Tyler Graybill; 5 great-grandchildren: Adam, Josie, Zachary, Kayleigh, Alexander Graybill; and many nieces and nephews.
Clarence is preceded in death by his parents; half-sister: Helen Keeney; half-brother: Charles Wilbur (Bud); and brothers: John, Howard, Marion Graybill.
