Charlotte Walden

Charlotte A. Walden, 81, of David City, died Monday, November 20, 2006 at David Place in David City. Services will be Friday, November 24, 2006 at 1:30pm at Chermok Funeral Home. Burial will be in the David City Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the Alzheimers Association. Charlotte A. Walden was born to Fred and Ellen(Hollingsworth)Brown on Jan. 5, 1925 at Ft. Dodge Iowa. She married Blake Chester Walden on Sept. 6, 1946 at David City, Nebraska. They moved to Iowa and operated a Dry Cleaning business together until his retirement. They lived in the Holstein, Iowa area for close to 60 yrs. He passed away on March 19, 2006. She recently returned to Nebraska to be near her son and was lived in the Columbus area until coming to David Place. She is survived by her sons: David Walden of Salt Lake City, UT; and Kim(Susan)Walden of Columbus. She also has 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Blake on March 19, 2006; one brother: Harold Brown; three sisters: Genevieve Mikesal; Velma Dunbar and Margaret Brown.
