Caleb A. Prellwitz, 8, of Rising City passed away May 3, 2015 at Bryan West Medical Center in Lincoln due to injuries sustained in an auto accident on May 2, 2015.

Caleb Prellwitz was born on June 14, 2006 to John and Carla(Miller) Prellwitz in Glencoe, Minnesota. He was baptized on July 2, 2006 at Grace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, Minnesota. He was in the 4th grade and was being home schooled by his parents. Caleb enjoyed going to summer camp at Camp Jefferson, Vacation Bible School and spending time with friends from Sunday School. He was involved in Currclick, which is an on-line home schooling program, where he met and interacted with kids from all over the world.
Caleb always had a smile on his lips a twinkle in his eye, and loved his family and friends.
Survivors include his parents: John and Carla; one sister: Amanda Prellwitz; one brother: Matthew Prellwitz; grandmothers: Corrine Miller of Slayton, MN, and Alona Cahow of Minneota, MN; and numerous aunt, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Marvin Prellwitz and Jerry Miller and step-grandfather, Don Cahow; brother: Joshua Prellwitz; uncle: Dennis Prellwtiz and cousin: Katie Miller.
