Bristol Jean Hiatt was born on August 17, 2011 to Shane and Kylie Hiatt. She attended Shelby-Rising City Public Schools and was loved beyond measure from the administration, special education teachers, special paras, teachers, and students!
Bristol loved the water, she had a slight obsession with Peppa Pig and the color purple. Her favorite pastime in the summer was attending all the race tracks and watching her dad race. Her favorite thing to do this summer was camping and learning to fish.
Bristol was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome in 2012. In 2014 and 2015 she got to experience many plane rides and hospital visits to Boston, Massachusetts where she was in a clinical trial. She was a warrior and nothing ever stopped her from being the greatest! To know Bristol was to love her. Her smile was beyond contagious and her giggle made your dark days brighter.
Bristol is survived by her father, Shane Hiatt, mom, Kylie Hiatt (Ryan Mispagel), and siblings, Hope and Ivan, grandparents: Chuck Andel, Deb and Brad Fountain, Mike and Barb Hiatt, great grandpa, Orin Hiatt, aunts, uncles, several cousins, and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her great grandparents: Darwin Brandt, Myrna Brandt, Robert and Bernadette Andel, Ivan and Ruth Want, Connie Hiatt, great uncle Bo, and other special Rett friends.
