Betty Humlicek

Betty Jean Humlicek, 85, of David City, passed away, Friday, June 5, 2009 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Lincoln. Services are 10 am Tuesday June 9th at St. Mary's Catholic Church in David City. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, June 8th from 2 - 5 pm at Chermok Funeral Home and from 6:30 - 7:30 pm at St. Mary's Church, followed by a PCCW Rosary at 7:30 pm.
Betty was born January 20, 1924 in David City to Harry L. and Regina (Sieverding) Wilson. She married Richard Humlicek on December 22, 1943 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Betty is survived by her husband, Richard of David City, son: Richard, Jr. (Angela) of Omaha, daughters: Sharon Bennett of Grand Island, Silvia Noonan of David City, Jeanne (Mark) Ingwersen of David City, Sue Jelinek of David City, Mary Romshek of Columbus, Beth (Todd) Hottovy of Nebraska City, Barbi Rasmussen of Lincoln, brother: David (Jean) Wilson of Linwood, 20 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Tom Wilson, sister, Barbara Thompson and grandson, Mark Romshek.
