Barbara "Peg" Miller, 71, of David City died Friday, March 6, 2015 at the Butler County Health Care Center in David City.
Per Peg's wishes there will be no public viewing and she has chosen cremation.

Barbara M. "Peg" Miller was born on August 21, 1943 at Burry St. Edmunds, England to Charles and Lydia(Pratt)Whiting. Peg married Frederick N. Miller and two children were born to this union. They later divorced and Peg eventually moved to Nebraska, settling in David City where she has resided for the last 15 years.
She was a mother and homemaker and she also worked as a cook at David Place and more recently was a worker at Blue Valley in David City. She enjoyed playing Bingo, listening to music, especially Neil Diamond and Bob Dylan and loved to spend time on her computer, skyping, Facebooking and surfing the web. She also enjoyed time with her family and friends.
Peg is survived by her children; Steven(Flo)Miller of San Diego, California and Marie(Troy)Ahrens of David City, Nebraska. Two brothers: Ian(Mary)Whiting of England and Bunt(Ann)Whiting of Australia, one sister: Anne Vernia of California. 10 Grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
