August E. Warholoski, 79, of David City passed away on December 6, 2012 at Butler County Health Care Center in David City.
Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 10:30am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in David City with Father Bernard Kimminau officiating. Burial will be at 2:00pm in St. Bonaventure Catholic Cemetery in Columbus.
Viewing will be Monday, from 3-5pm at Chermok Funeral Home and will resume from 6-7pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church followed by a 7pm parish rosary. Viewing will continue Tues. from 9:30-10:30am at the church.

August E. Warholoski, was born April 12, 1933 to August and Victoria(Wetovick) Warholoski in Columbus. He graduated from St. Bonaventure Catholic School in 1951. On June 27, 1953 August was united in marriage to Shirley Kenyon at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus. They have made their home in David City for more than 46 years.
He worked as a lineman/combination-man at Lincoln Telephone Company for several years. August and Shirley were part of a Pinochle card club in David City. August enjoyed gardening, canning, fishing, beef jerky, cooking, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Shirley; Sons: Thomas(Dolores) Warholoski of Albuquerque, NM, Ed(Cheryl) Warholoski of Ceresco, and Alan(Wendi) Warholoski of Leadville, CO; Daughters: Pam(David) Wright of Gretna, Vicki(Larry) Kirschner of Kearney, and Teresa(Alan) Hromas of Kearney; Sister-in-Law: Irene Warholoski; Brother-in-law: Gary(Beverly) Kenyon; 13 Grandchildren: Ben(Chelsea) Warholoski, Jennifer Warholoski, Michael Warholoski, Tiffany(Jake) Vasa, Amber Warholoski, Isabella Warholoski, Audrey(Matt) Lyons, Emily(James) Lewis, Craig Kirschner, Hannah Kirschner, Elizabeth Kirschner, Alex Hromas and Erica Hromas; 5 Great-Grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
August is preceded in death by his parents; Son: Michael John Warholoski; Grandson: David John Kirschner; Great-Grandson: Kanai Warholoski; Brother: Alfred Warholoski; Sisters: Evelyn(Adam) Kusek, Edith(Eugene) Schroeder, & Virginia(Fred) Gerber; Nephews: David Schroeder & Ron Warholoski.
