Arlene Houdek

Arlene was born February 4, 1954 in Schuyler to Lumir and Emily (Juva) Houdek. She was employeed in the Maintenance Department at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln for many years. She enjoyed collecting dolphins and bells and spending time with her family. Arlene died at her home in Lincoln unexpectedly on February 22nd. Arlene is survived by her son, Juston Radcliffe of Lincoln; longtime companion, James Radcliffe of Lincoln and his children, Jerry, Scott, Jenny and Janice and their families; her mother, Emily Knapp of Schuyler; sisters, Betty (Ron) Henggeler of Schuyler, Janet (Earl) Koch of Norfolk; brothers, Dennis (Dorothy) Houdek of Lincoln and Donald Houdek of Lincoln; nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Lumir Houdek; step father, Steve Knapp. Family suggest memorials to Family Choice. Funeral lunch will be served in the church basement following the burial.
