Adrian Blatny, 79, of Brainard, died Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at David Place in David City.

Adrian Blatny was born on April 27, 1938 to Vitus and Agnes (Brezina) Blatny in Schuyler, Nebraska. He attended and graduated from Linwood Schools and went on to serve in the US Navy for three years.
On September 3, 1960, he married Gladys Kouma at Dwight Assumption Church. Four children were born to this union.
Adrian farmed all of his life, was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Brainard Council, Holy Trinity Church, past president of the Brainard Co-op Board and enjoyed deer hunting and his farm animals.
Adrian is survived by his wife, Gladys, children: Alan Blatny, Christine(Dennis)Bartek, Shelly (Kurt) Palik and Christopher Blatny all of Brainard. Four grandchildren: Jessica and Casey Bartek and Joshua and Kaleb Palik. one brother: Valerian Blatny of Brandon, Fl, and one sister: Joyce Vacha of Bellville, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
