Adeline M. Petersen, 75, of David City, died Thursday, November 23, 2006 at David Place in David City. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, November 28, 2006, 10:00am at St. Mary's Church in David City. Wake Service and PCCW Rosary will be held on Monday, November 27, 2006 at 7:00pm at St. Mary's Church. Visitation will be from 1-5pm at Chermok Funeral Home and after 6:00 pm at the church. Memorials are to be given in care of the family. Adeline M. Hotovy was born on Dec. 25, 1930 to Joseph and Anna(Matejcek)Hotovy on the farm south of David City. She attended and graduated from David City High School in 1949. She married Jerry"Pete" Petersen on Aug. 22, 1951 at St. Mary's Church, David City. She was employed by Western Drive-In; M&S Transfer; Henningsen Foods; as a manager at Pizza Hut; and with the David City Public School as custodian. She also was the owner of David City Transfer. Adeline is survived by her husband Jerry "Pete"; Sons: Bob Petersen of Fremont; Bill(Shirley)Petersen of David City; Daughters: Sue(Steve)Topil of Rising City; Mary Lou (Tom) Vossler of Exeter; Sister-in-law: Margaret Ann Hotovy of David City. She has 10 Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: George and Ernest Hotovy; one sister-in-law: Bea Hotovy.
