Adeline Jindra, 75, of Schuyler passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 at the Schuyler CHI Hospital.
Memorials can be mailed to 1705 Banner Street, Schuyler in care of the family.
Following Adeline's wishes she has been cremated and burial of her ashes in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in David City will take place at a later date.
Adeline was born, as one of 13 children, on March 26, 1946 in David City, Nebraska to Anton H. and Frances (Patocka) Jindra. She worked for many years in Schuyler as a line cook in the kitchen at Johnny's Steakhouse as well as Gene's Chicken until her retirement. Even though cooking was a part of her daily job she loved coming home and cooking or baking wonderful meals and treats. Gardening was her favorite activity when the weather allowed otherwise she enjoyed filling out crossword puzzles and chores around the house.
Adeline is survived by her siblings: Rita Becht, Antoinette Znamenacek, Alice Prahm, Ann Martindale, Lucille Flynn, Anton Jindra, Frances Tully, and Patty Jindra. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters Marcy, Marti, Rose, and Sally.
